Check us out on Yolo TX! Every year, the Uvalde community comes together to ring in the holiday season with "Christmas at the Crossroads." The festivities begin with a Christmas night-parade that lights up Main Street. Guests can also enjoy live musical performances, local vendors & artisans, carolers, ice-skating, carriage rides and even get a photo op with Ol' Saint Nick himself!

AVIATION MUSEUM OF TEXAS AT GARNER FIELD

The Museum is located at the Uvalde Municipal Airport in one of the original hangars built for Garner Army Air Field, a World War II primary training base.The museum preserves the local and regional history of aviation and displays memorabilia and aircraft from WWII.

EL PROGRESO MEMORIAL LIBRARY

Weisman Museum of Southwest Texas - Virginia Wood Davis Archives - Organized in 1903, the library is one of the oldest in this part of the state. COOK'S SLOUGH NATURE PARK

Cook’s Slough Nature Park is home to thousands of migratory and nesting birds and other wildlife from fall through spring, including sandhill cranes, painted buntings, collard plovers, quail, bobcats, blue indigo snakes and softshell turtles. The 25 acre park features two miles of hiking and biking trails and eight viewing areas. Located on County Road 106 west of FM 117.

BRISCOE ART & ANTIQUE COLLECTION

Located within First State Bank of Uvalde, the Briscoe art and antique collection receives over 6,000 visitors a yea. View an extensive collection of art and antiques at the most unique bank in Texas. The collection of primarily Western art and Victorian era antiques is on display during bank hours.
